Why a flower wall

The backdrop your photographs are taken against

Every wedding has a moment where guests start taking photographs and there is nowhere good to take them. A flower wall solves that. It gives you a single, deliberate, well-composed background that works in every shot, instead of a fire exit and a stack of chairs.

It also does something less obvious: it makes the room feel finished. A wall fills vertical space in a way that table centrepieces cannot, which matters enormously in large venues where the décor budget tends to disappear into a room that still looks empty.

Delivery, installation and breakdown are all done by our crew and quoted separately from the wall, based on your venue address. On a day with a hundred things to manage, this is one that is not yours to think about.

The photograph

Where everyone ends up standing

An all-white wall photographs cleanly under any lighting and never competes with the dress.

Guests find the wall on their own. By the end of the night it has been in more photographs than any other part of the room — which is why it is worth putting somewhere people naturally gather.

Where a flower wall works at a wedding

Most couples use one in two or three places, not just one.

The ceremony

A floral arch frames the vows and gives your photographer a clean composition for the moment itself.

Cocktail hour

Where most guest photographs actually happen. A wall here gets more use than anywhere else in the day.

Behind the head table

A wall behind the top table anchors the room and appears in every speech and toast photograph.

The photo booth

A wall paired with a booth gives guests a print to take home and you a full gallery afterwards.

Our most-booked wedding walls

Ivory, blush and greenery dominate wedding bookings — they photograph softly and they do not date.

Floral arches for the ceremony

An arch does a different job from a wall. A wall is a background you stand in front of; an arch is a frame you stand inside. For vows, that framing is what makes the photograph.

  • Circular and oval — the most photographed shape, and the most forgiving of tall and short couples
  • Half-circle — opens the frame so guests still see you clearly
  • Heart — traditional, and the most requested for vow renewals
  • Paired arches — two arches flanking an aisle, for larger ceremonies

Wedding flower wall FAQ

Can the same flower wall be used for the ceremony and the reception?

Often, yes. If both are in the same venue we can move a wall or arch between rooms during your event — it just needs building into the run sheet so we are on site at the right moment. Tell us at the booking stage rather than on the day.

When should we book a flower wall for our wedding?

As early as you can, particularly for Saturdays between May and October and for December dates. Popular walls go first. If your date is soon, still ask — we can often cover short notice depending on what is free.

Do you set up at the venue, or do we collect the wall?

We deliver, install and return to break down. Nobody in your wedding party handles the wall. Give us the venue name and your timings and we will coordinate the load-in with their events team directly.

Can you match the wall to our wedding colours?

We can usually get close from the stock collection, and where the palette is specific we build custom. Send us your colour references — swatches, a mood board, your florist’s palette — and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.

Can we add a neon sign with our names or the date?

Yes. Custom neon reading your names, initials or the date is one of our most requested wedding add-ons, and it mounts directly into the wall. See custom signs for the options.

What happens if it rains and our ceremony is outdoors?

Our walls and arches are freestanding and install outdoors on flat, firm ground with weighted bases, but they are not built for heavy rain or strong wind. We agree a wet-weather plan with you before the day so there is a decided answer rather than a decision made in the moment.
