A word first

Two or three things, chosen well

Add-ons are where event budgets quietly disappear. The temptation is to book a bit of everything, and the result is a setup that feels cluttered rather than considered — which is the opposite of expensive.

Our honest advice: pick two or three that support the wall, and skip the rest. Lighting almost always earns its cost, because it changes how everything else photographs. A red carpet earns it if you have an arrival moment. Effects earn it only if there is a specific moment for them to punctuate.

Tell us the event and we will tell you which ones are worth it for you, including when the answer is none.

Lighting & signage

The two that change everything

Uplighting

Warm uplighting across the wall gives it depth and stops a room reading flat under overhead light. The single highest-value add-on for evening events, and the cheapest way to make a space feel finished.

Custom neon signage

Names, initials, a date or a company wordmark set into the wall. Strongest against dark walls and in dimmed rooms. See signage options.

Arrival & floor

Building the moment guests walk into

Red carpet

Defines an arrival and gives photographers a clear line. Pairs naturally with a step-and-repeat.

Stanchions

Ropes and posts to shape a queue and keep an arrival orderly.

Rose petals

A scattered floor or a defined path in. Most effective for proposals and ceremonies.

Floor graphics

Branded or decorative floor applications for entrances and wayfinding.

Table décor

Centrepieces and table signage matched to the main installation.

Custom props

Themed props for photo moments, matched to your event rather than generic.

Effects

For one specific moment, not the whole night

Effects work when they punctuate something — a first dance, an entrance, a reveal. Running continuously, they stop registering.

Cold sparks

Low-temperature indoor sparks for entrances and first dances. Venue approval required — check before booking.

Confetti

A single burst at the right moment. Check your venue's clean-up policy first.

Fog machine

Low fog for first dances, and for making beams from uplighting visible.

Bigger pieces

Book these with the wall

Add-ons FAQ

Can I book add-ons without renting a flower wall?

Usually yes, though some items are only practical alongside a main installation because of delivery. Tell us what you need and we will confirm whether it works on its own.

Are cold sparks safe indoors?

Cold spark machines produce a low-temperature effect designed for indoor use, but every venue sets its own rules and many require advance notice or prohibit effects entirely. Always clear it with your venue first, and tell us what they say so we can plan accordingly.

Does uplighting need power at the venue?

Yes. Uplighting, neon and photo booths all need mains access. Tell us where the power outlets are in the room and we will plan placement around them rather than running cable across a walkway.

How far in advance should add-ons be booked?

Book them with your wall rather than afterwards. Adding items later can mean a second delivery, and anything custom — neon in particular — has production lead time.

Do you set up and remove add-ons too?

Yes. Everything we supply is delivered, installed and collected by our own team. Delivery, setup and breakdown are quoted separately from the rental, based on your venue address.

Building out your setup?

Tell us your date, venue and what you have already booked, and we will suggest what is actually worth adding.
